Early on in my writing journey, I switched to keeping only digital copies of my poems and stories. Concerns about redundancy led to me to consider recreating 30+ years of handwritten hardcopies but I’m not THAT insane. Copies on my local drive, an external drive, and several clouds should suffice.
Not everything I think, feel or experience ends up in a poem or story. Nor should they! But they do deserve an outlet of their own. Hidden amongst the wilds of the internet, away from the hustle and bustle of social networking sites, I think my semi-private website can be that outlet.
