What’s Not Seen (#1536)

There’s more to me than what I wear over my skin,
Don’t mistake my clothing for what’s within,
I rarely express myself on the outside,
Else I’d wear black and have my hair dyed,
I may not wear a collar or apply cosmetics,
But I adore the darker aesthetics,
It’s just not something I can do with a career,
Well, not without real consequences and fear,
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday,
It’s too bad it can’t be Halloween every day,
I enjoy The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus but also P!nk,
I may come across prudish, but I also like kink,
Even though I don’t dress to the stereotypical extreme,
I’m darker inside than I seem,

Any Thoughts?
