Wedding (#396)

Bells? Bells? Is that what I hear?
Is this a sign that marriage is near?
Oh, finally our time is here,
The wedding, our time of cheer,
To stand in the church when my bride walks down,
And in front of her, only rose petals sound,
There we are, hand in hand,
Awaiting our new life, a wild new wonderland,
The cup has been passed; our words have been spoken,
Now to finish the vows that have been read,
So long a moment have I waited for this,
Marriage vows sealed with a kiss,
Now we shall leave as husband and wife,
To love each other to the ends of life.
