Valentine for My Wife (#464)

I wake next to you and can’t help but smile,
Carefully I caress the length of your profile,
I brush the hair from your sweet face,
And my heart even now starts to race,

I know I’m lucky to have you in my life,
Even luckier that I get to call you my wife,
You are my lover, my confidant, and my friend,
You, my Valentine, are undoubtedly a godsend,

For you, my heart thumps with passionate zeal,
Cherish is such a limited word for how I feel,
My world has many pieces, but you’re the glue,
I could never imagine my life without you,

Any Thoughts?
