Undaunted (#1489)

Never accepted – Never wanted,
I continue to submit undaunted,
Into my head, thoughts creep,
All coming from the darkest deep,
Perhaps it’s not good enough?
Is it too amateur and rough?
Are my characters too flat?
Too much narrative chat?
Behold my rejection slip collage!
My ego begs for a massage,
For it and I are quite bruised,
Feeling practically abused,
Yet I continue to submit undaunted,
Even if it’s never accepted – never wanted.

Any Thoughts?
