Trash Can Smash (#1902)

My wife, after a long day, was worn out,
Rather than cook she opted for takeout,
To pick it up, my wife took my car,
The drive to the restaurant wasn’t far,
But the trip home didn’t go to plan,
She accidently clipped a trash can,
The passenger side mirror got trashed,
The trash can itself wasn’t even mashed,
She came home crying and all contrite,
Not the way I wanted to end my night,

Any Thoughts?
