Taking Forever (#1369)

How can it take so long?
I’m sitting here humming a song,
Homework should be quick,
But his focus just won’t stick,
He doesn’t seem even to try,
His mother is almost about to cry,
We honestly want him to do well,
Here and before the after-school bell,
That head is as thick as wood,
We just want him to do good,
He makes it harder than it needs to be,
I wish it were something he could see,

Any Thoughts?
