Old Love (#102)

I pray to the heavens, and I hear your name,
I look back to myself and who’s to blame,
Maybe your path was to be different than mine,
But I don’t remember ever seeing a sign,
Maybe to you, I was only Mr. Right-now,
But I can attest that wasn’t my vow,
Maybe you needed more than what I could give,
Even now the memories of losing you is hard to relive,
Maybe we weren’t supposed to last,
Somethings are just meant to stay in the past,
I hope she’ll find what it is she’s looking for,
That and much, much, more.
