No (#447)

It’s hard telling a friend in need “no,”
To both them and myself it’s a hard blow,
As a good friend, I have a duty to uphold,
Regardless of the events that will unfold,
When in need, we all want to lend a hand,
When they fall, to help them again stand,
But when they keep falling into the trap,
Even when you’ve given them aid and a map,
When it’s the same trouble and same shout,
How many times should we bail them out,
It’s obvious they have a lesson to learn,
Them not learning it is quite a concern,
In the end, the choice is theirs to make,
I just wonder how many falls it’ll take,

Any Thoughts?
