My Beloved (#475)

A touch of the lips, a tender romantic kiss,
I never knew that magic could taste like this,
Magic dust glitters about the air,
Sunlight shimmering in her red delicious hair,
The loving and comforting embrace,
The passion in the touch makes the heart race,
The gaze from her eyes those amber-star eyes,
That peers into my soul like the sparkling skies,
A gentle smile to be still my heart,
I know as long as I love, I’ll never wish to part,
Nothing can jostle me to wake it would seem,
Fantasy or truth- this cannot be a dream,
Into battle without shield, armor, or blade,
She hath sent me into this emotional crusade,
Together we fight tribulations and sorrow,
May we have forever together and tomorrow.
