Leaving Friends (#570)

Traveled thousands of miles to make friends like you,
The thought of leaving now saddens and makes me blue,
The friendships we’ve formed and made,
Makes me wish longer that I could have stayed,
I will never forget each and every one of you,
Honestly, you are burned into my heart through and through,
I will cherish the time we have spent,
Though I wonder where all that time went,
It has been fun, positively a delight,
Leaving here is such an internal fight,
I regret not knowing each of you better,
I’ll never forget the warmth and hospitality down to the letter,
For some of you, I may never see again,
I hope all of you know what a pleasure it’s been,

Any Thoughts?
