Leaving (#1406)

Leaving the beach is like leaving home,
The crashing waves and the salty foam,
Time with her just doesn’t feel enough,
So, leaving the beach is awfully tough,
I could stay there weeks on end I’m sure,
To life’s little ailments it’s the perfect cure,
But sadly, like all good things it must end,
That means saying goodbye to my friend,
The beach is my comfort and renewal,
Hopefully, my visit has given me fuel,
To make it through the rest of the year,
In hopes, I do more than just persevere,

Any Thoughts?
