Lacking Harmony (#789)

I write to feel better about the world,
And all the events that are unfurled,
Outside and alone, everything’s at peace,
When others enter, it tends to cease,
Money, politics, distrust, and the steeple,
Impedes our ability to co-exist with all people,
Of course, that’s not the way it should be,
But we’re all just too blind to it to see,
Society makes our world dark and clouded,
Private agendas are everywhere but shrouded,
Why is harmony something so few embrace?
If we all did, the world would be a better place,
We writers create worlds better than our own,
And we attack the issues right at the bone,

Any Thoughts?
