Jellyfish Hug (#1800)

Going to the beach was my wish,
Not so much getting hugged by a jellyfish,
I’ve been stung before but only glancing,
This one was lightning and had me dancing,
I hurried out of the water with considerable alarm,
Welts formed across my stomach and all down my arm,
The back and front of my leg burned as did my thighs,
I could feel the tears forming in my eyes,
I had no vinegar to help alleviate the sting,
Oh, what severe pain a jellyfish can bring!
I’m now left with welts everywhere that itch,
Son of a bitch!
