I Want a Say (#1967)

It’s too easy to be swept away,
By the tides that pull us every day,
It’s so very simple to let life flow,
Never captain of where you may go,
I can see why many live this way,
They seem okay with not having a say,
Even I let the rudder go now and then,
But only for so long before I try again,
I can’t allow myself to float along,
Something about it feels wrong,
Is fate predetermined or ever shifting?
If it’s the latter, I’d rather not be drifting,

Any Thoughts?
