Heading Home Again (#1240)

There’s nothing like the feeling of heading home,
Especially after a long day or extended roam,
It holds a sense of comfort and ending,
A cure for a homesick heart-rending,
Though the trip is laden with anticipation,
Ultimately, the trip has a finite duration,
The very act of heading home is a relief,
For the remaining time away is brief,
You need not be a homebody to feel this way,
For it’s a natural feeling post work or even holiday,
Especially after a long day or extended roam,
There’s nothing like the feeling of heading home,

Any Thoughts?
