Fairy Meeting (#1342)

If you’ve ever been blessed to see a fairy,
Then you know they’re not ugly or scary,
A heart the size of a mountain and very sweet,
Did I mention their size is quite petite?
One random day I met one of the fae,
In shock, I stammered- unsure what to say,
I must admit the experience was odd,
I smiled and gave greetings with a nod,
Who would see a fairy this day and age?
But time is a book, and this year is a page,
It communicated erratic and quick,
Was this some sort of magic trick?
As sudden as it had come, it was gone,
That told me that fairies still lived on,
It’s still hard to piece together what it said,
It’s an experience to make me scratch my head!

Any Thoughts?
