Cycles (#438)

I knew it wouldn’t last,
Just as it hadn’t in the past,
Good habits are hard to keep,
Bad habits are engrained deep,
Serious change is hard,
Takes willpower by the yard,
Discipline doesn’t come overnight,
In fact, it can be a downright fight,
It’s fairly easy to start,
But keeping it up is the art,
Off the wagon, we fall,
Hitting the proverbial wall.
