COVID Scare (#1922)

We still had scheduled events ahead,
Some of them filled me with certain dread,
But then it all changed with a phone call,
My son’s work called to say it’s quarantine for all,
He had been exposed to someone infected,
We have no choice but to do as directed,
We told our friends and family the news,
Delivered with apology and the blues,
So far none of us have symptoms of concern,
But our COVID status we needed to learn,
We all got up early and went on a quest,
To visit the doctor’s office for a COVID test,

Any Thoughts?
