Coal and Maeve (#1730)

I can’t say if I was ready or not,
But my clamoring wife gave it a shot,
She came home with two kittens in tow,
What an energetic combo!
The first was a black cat named Coal,
A love bug with the sweetest soul,
The second was a tortoiseshell named Maeve,
A cutie that can’t ever seem to behave,
It’s been two months since that event,
And I must admit it’s been time well spent,
These two are nothing like our last,
But they’re more than I could have asked,

Any Thoughts?
