Book in the Wild (#1892)

Today I saw someone reading a book,
It was so strange that I took another look,
That sight instinctively made me smile,
Mostly because I hadn’t seen it in a while,
Today the norm is to be glued to a phone,
It makes folks living in the real-world moan,
It’s comforting to know people still read,
Especially in this digital world at warp speed,
Thankfully, books aren’t yet a relic of the past,
But who knows as the times are changing fast!
There’s nothing quite like their smell and feel,
I only hope books keep their ongoing appeal,

Any Thoughts?
