Anything Will Do (#1119)

I left these words upon paper discarded,
For it was all I had when my ideas bombarded,
I’ve been known to scribble on a napkin or two,
Or on shower walls, while applying shampoo,
I’ve written in ocean drenched sand,
Not to mention in the palm of my hand,
On the back of offering envelopes while pastors preach,
My cell phone or tablet will do if they’re in reach,
I’ve written on the backs of reports and worksheets,
And who could forget all those crumpled shopping receipts,
Moleskines and index cards are my preferred medium to use,
But let’s be honest- there’s no medium I’d refuse,
When ideas come, they demand to be written,
Behold the curse of the writing bug’s bitten,

Any Thoughts?
