Another Valentine’s Day (#1496)

The day of love is upon us once more,
What does it have for us in store?
Candy, flowers, or perhaps even sex?
Toy handcuffs, wine, or perhaps shiny latex?
For those lucky enough to have love perhaps,
For the rest, loneliness, and depression traps,
I can’t imagine not being part of a pair,
Nor can I imagine a Valentine’s Day full of despair,
My heart goes out to those without an other half,
For them, Valentine’s Day must really chaff,
I myself am lucky to have love in my life,
Even luckier to get to call her my wife.

Any Thoughts?
