A Decade Later (#840)

I can hear my heartbeat,
At the approach of my sweet,
Even now after a decade together,
We’re still two birds of a feather,
As much as we love we hate,
But I wouldn’t want any other mate,
I still look forward to seeing her,
Making her toes curl and her purr,
It’s hard to believe the years have passed,
But good times always seem to go by fast,
Even if it’s all just a big blur,
I’m glad I still wake next to her,
Even now I love and lust my wife,
And I’m ever so happy she’s in my life,

Any Thoughts?
