Poem #21

Save the Earth

A filing cabinet of human lives,
A labyrinth to see what survives,
On Earth, this green encircling globe,
Quilted in a large blue and white robe,
Our existence solely belongs to her,
Without her, our continuance would not occur,
We take and give nothing but destruction in return,
We leave her polluted, scarred and we never learn,
If we do not learn to take better care of her,
Both our fates will be sealed for sure,
If the Earth dies, then we die too,
I think we should protect her, don’t you?
