I can’t believe Thanksgiving is here already. This is the first year in as long as I can remember that we’ve stayed home for Thanksgiving. My parents and my grandmother are travelling; My wife’s dad is doing the same. That means there’s really no big Thanksgiving gathering this year. It feels strange. That’s okay though. I’m planning on making my family’s Eastern Carolina fish stew for lunch and having a little turkey dinner later. It should be good. Happy Thanksgiving! #thanksgiving #family #food

It’s been a busy day! I spent the morning writing and playing with my cats. Around noon, I took the family out for shopping and lunch. Back home, I sorted LEGO bricks for a while and got some things done around the house. Fixed the design of my website’s writing page and finally got to watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. On that note, I think it’s time for a little pre-Thanksgiving pumpkin pie. #lego #shopping #family #writing #website #thanksgiving #charliebrown #pie

Started sorting my LEGO collection tonight and I can see that it’s going to take quite a long time to complete. Like most things that take time, it’ll be worth it in the end. It sounds like I’ll need to carve out some extra time each day or every other day to do a little sorting until I eventually get it done. Now that the sorting is done for tonight, time for some hot tea and a little bit more writing. #lego #sorting #tea #writing #goals

This is one of the LEGO polybag sets I picked up this week. It’s a cute design but why on earth is the snowspeeder gray? They’ve always been white with gray and orange accents. Weird! #lego #snowspeeder #starwars #color

A lot of the leaves have changed color by now, if not already fallen from the trees. But this morning I happened to run across this one and thought it was a lovely shade of red. It was a small thing that made me smile. I hope everyone else today finds that small thing that makes them smile too. #fall #trees #color #red
